The apartment feels spacious and light thanks to many large windows and a sizeable hallway running down the rear of the property. The first room off the hallway is the living and dining area. About the 3rd Arrondissement location:
This apartment is located in one of the best areas to stay in Paris. Le Marais is regarded as one of the best Parisian neighbourhoods. The magnificent Place des Vosges is 5 minutes away by foot and is worth visiting. A favourite green space of Parisians on a sunny Parisian day, you’ll find this square full of people having a picnic and children playing in its many fountains. The historic arcades surrounding the square house contain art galleries, chic restaurants, street musicians and the former home of French writer Victor Hugo, the man behind works such as Les Miserables et Notre Dame de Paris. You can visit Victor Hugo’s house for free and admire the views of the Places des Vosges from above. The Marais district in the Third Arrondissement is full of restaurants, boulangeries and shopping opportunities. Looking for the best street to shop on in Paris? You’re on it! The Rue des Francs Bourgeois is a bustling street full of restaurants, cafes and shops ranging from high end to high street.
Allow yourself to get lost in Paris and wander the streets, admiring the fine architecture, historic cobblestones and more. With its close proximity to the Saint Metro Stop (Line 1), accessing other areas of the Paris is extremely easy. Just hop on a train to reach the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe, Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur and more! The Line 1 will quickly take you to Les Halles, giving you an easy link to Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports from central Paris. The RER A line runs from this station as well and provides the easiest way to get to Disneyland Paris.
What can I say about this place except that it was perfect. The apartment is exactly as described and is very spacious. All the windows open up to the beautiful streets of Le Marais and you're able to hear Paris come alive. We woke up to church bells instead of an alarm clock. It was beautiful. There are a lot of restaurants if you don't feel like cooking but the kitchen comes well equipped for you to cook if you wanted. There is a grocery store near by too. The street that the apartment is on (rue the Francs Bourgeois) is really great for shopping but there are even more stores on the side streets so don't miss out on them! There were so many we didn't even get to see all of them. The Internet Wifi conncetion was very good, especially in the living area. There is also Wifi in almost all the restaurants and shops, so that you can stay connected at all times. The service was also great. We were met by Adriane who checked us in a little early since we got there in the morning. She was very pleasant and was willing to answer any questions we had. Overall I would definitely recommend this to friends and stay here again.
The photos did not do this apartment justice. It was fantastic with high ceilings, beautiful herringbone wood floors and a bright and airy feeling ; We stayed with our daughters aged 9 and 12 and they loved their bedroom and the fact that there was a little park with a playground just nearby. The location was ideal and we were able to walk to all the must-see attractions. We took Paul’s advice and visited the famous falafel place a few streets away and truly never had a bad meal. There were so many cafes and restaurants to choose from in the neighborhood. Paul was very helpful and always quick to respond to emails or phone calls. Good overall experience.
This place is very beautiful and the location is amazing, but it certainly has some shortcomings. First, the wifi they provide is abominable. It is absolutely horrible and really complicated buying attraction/travel tickets online. The larger of the two bedrooms in the apartment has very little privacy because it is so echoey and has big glass french doors. Also it doesn't have a working radiator so it's a bit cold. But the kitchen and the bathroom are both great and very usable. The bathtub is super luxurious.
Loved it! Areas for improvement: More than one set of keys would be helpful Beds are soft and poor quality Lounge needs replacing Nowhere to store luggage after 10am on day of departure.
