Our home can host comfortably 4 adult persons, is completely new furnished and well equipped also for all cooking needs, has air condition and mosquito screens and a washing mashine, it consists in:
2 bedrooms (1 with en suite bath and double sinks, shower and bathtub).
1 master bed with 1.80 m x 2 m.
2 twin beds 1m x 2 m each (can become a double bed).
2 baths (each one with a shower and one has also a bathtub).
1 small but efficiently working open fire place under the “Dwarf’s hat”.
1 fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, toaster, hot water kettle and dishwasher,
1 terrace with table and 6 chairs and a sun roof.
1 shared huge infinity pool of 21 x 6.80 meters and landscaped (beach like soft entrance and whirlpool) into the Tuscan nature.
Little garden space with the exclusive right to be used by us and/or our guests of course.
Several acres of land shared with the neighbors of the hamlet
2 parking lots distant from the home, but you can get close to it for emptying the car.
It was originally the hen house and fowl stable, 5 stones and rocks left with a breath taking view. We called it “Dwarf’s house” but then another bed room came to it, “borrowed” from the big house besides and it became a true apartment with quite a big master bed room and its on suite bathroom with bath tub and 80 x 80 shower and a twin bed room for our sons with an extra bath and an 80 x 80 shower and a small sink. It can become a double bed room.
It is now a lovely comfortable apartment, ideal for two to four persons. The new beds are big and comfortable 2 m long, and fitted out with very good mattresses (orthopedically approved). The master bedroom has a little “Romeo and Julia” Balcony in a funny shape which allows you to step outside the walls.
The kitchen is fully equipped and custom made to measure to cope with the niches and edges which gives it an exclusive touch.
For someone who loves to create atmosphere and is fond of illumination, this apartment has the most switches and plugs of the whole Borgo, they said. But I love to live in different sceneries and feel the necessity for different lighting depending on what you are doing. For instance: romantic light, when you drink a glass of good red wine and lose yourself watching the flames in the open fireplace or strong light for reading or preparing dishes.
The outside terrace works like the extension of the kitchen in spring and autumn and is perfect for breakfast and lunch in these seasons and for dinner outside in the summer. It has a beautiful sun roof, but for lunch on a hot summer day you better go 2 m aside and enjoy the shadow of the huge cypress in front of the house, there is also a little bit of refreshing wind and one sleeps the sleep of the true.
The living area sits comfortably 4 persons around the open fire place. The living area is quite small and the open fire place works perfectly and is a remainder of the “dwarf’s house”.
In the living area everything is just on it’s place because it is it’s place, there is no more left. It is cozy and comfortable but not spacious. We preferred a second bed room instead as you usually live outside in Italy and make day trips or sit on the pool side or enjoy the view from our terrace.
All of us are quite tall, so we choose long beds ( 2m x 2m in the master bed room and 2 times 1m x 2 m in the second bed room, which can be put together and make a double bed instead of a twin bed room.

Amazing experience! All photos correspond exactly to what the house offers and more! Complete with everything to make our stay one of the best experiences we could have in Tuscany. We stayed in "our" house for 6 nights and left there with taste of want more. The Clauida, Fábio and Patricio were of a kindness and attention that made us feel welcomed and special. I come back and recommend it!
Perfection melted in the heart of nature!
We had a wonderful stay at Claudia's thoughtfully decked out cottage. There is plenty of storage, 2 bathrooms (such a luxury!) - one of which has lighting which makes you feel like a movie star! - and plenty of living spaces which was just what we need after traveling together for 3 weeks. Everything is new inside and well appointed - down to the lovely Florentine designed sheets! The children's room had decent thick window coverings so they slept in well in the morning.The weather was very warm while we were there so the pool was just what we needed after a morning of sightseeing and the children made friends with other children around the pool . The cottage is in a great location - only 10km from San Gimignano and not much further to Volterra, both towns offering lots of good options for shopping and dining. And Claudia ' s cottage is definitely the best in the hamlet. It is the most private, has shade when you need it and a wonderful view as we sipped our pre dinner drinks. We would definitely come again.
