THE BURON
The high pasturages of Auvergne are dotted with ancestral small stone houses: the burons who welcomed and protected "men and animals" during the summer period during which the herds were put in pasture and the milk collected transformed on the spot in cheese. Most of them date back to the 17th century, but they have been shutting down for a few decades, one after the other.

Located at an altitude of 1300 meters, in spring horses and goats encircle the buron and sometimes decide to go with you on a hike.
We can receive up to 10 people . We live there with the candle. One of the two chambers, under the vault, like a protective cave with its huge bed covered with a warm sheepskin, calls to all dreams.

The last road goes through the small village of Nierevèze , located a few kilometers from Saint-Jacques-des-Blâts on the N122. This is where you can leave your car before the adventure begins on foot or 4x4 ...
A "base camp" can be imposed before the big oxygen intake!
The Chapellenie , 13th century house in the historic center of Aurillac, transformed into a guest house, allows a smooth approach. We can come and meet you at the airport and, after a first night under the protection of a house steeped in history, accompany you to the buron in 4X4.
