The city of Aveiro:
Aveiro is a 15/20 minutes from the beaches, where you can take a typical boat Cruise - Moliceiro, through the channels of the Ria, through the middle of the city and also visit areas of production of salt, fish and oysters.
There are several restaurants specializing in fresh fish from our coast, in shellfish and other seafood, as well as Marinhoa beef from the nearby rural areas.
We have tradition in sweets and ice cream. The “ovos moles “ are conventual candies typical of this area made of egg yolks and sugar.
The City is rich in “Arte Nova” monuments that are scattered throughout the historic area.
