My wife and I came to Tenerife for our first time in early June 2017. We were looking at other islands in the Canary Islands, but I focused our search specifically on Tenerife due to finding this specific villa. We were met at the villa by Juan and his wife. They were very nice and accommodating and explained to us everything about the house that we needed to know. This villa was perfect for our needs. It was close enough to the inner part of Santa Ursula where restaurants and grocery stores are but far enough away where we felt we were secluded. The villa itself is top notch and the view from the cliffs where the villa is is incredible. There is a view from the cliff of the nearby town of Puerto de la Cruz and of nearby beaches El Bollulo and Los Patos, where I went to surf. The waves in Los Patos were very fun. You have to climb down a mountain to get there though, so I wouldn't recommend taking children there. We really enjoyed reading and hanging out by the pool and looking out at the ocean during our trip. Out of all the villas we've stayed at on different islands in the Caribbean and Europe, this would probably be close to the top spot, if not the top spot. If you see this villa available for your trip, I would highly recommend renting this villa over any others.
At our arrival to this wonderful villa, we received a warmest welcome with chocolate and flowers by owners Elena and Juan. The villa itself leaves nothing to ask for, it is beautifully decorated and kitchen has all the appliances and cutlery for making your own dinners, although we also enjoyed the great restaurants in Santa Ursula -Tasca Oliver and El Calderito de Abuela. The villa has beautiful garden and pool area, not to mention the amazing views over the sea, Puerto de la Cruz and the Orotava valley. After busy days of exploring the island, it was fantastic to arrive to the peace and quiet of the villa, relax at the terrace and admire the sunset. A perfect holiday!
We spent a wonderful week in this lovely villa. The views were amazing with beautiful sunsets. Elena and Juan were the perfect hosts and even had flowers and champagne waiting for me on arrival to celebrate my birthday. We spent a relaxing week in this villa and would definitely return. Many thanks Elena and Juan Sandra and Chris
Amazing villa with amazing location on the cliff. We had an amazing time. My wife and I wanted somewhere to be away and some privacy. It was the perfect place for our needs. Wonderful plants outside in the garden from all over the world. Spacious and spotless from inside the villa itself. Great and charming view during the day. The sunset was something else there! Juan and Elena, I can't thank you enough for the great welcome and extraordinary hospitality. Great people and so kind that they responded to our needs within the stay and even after. Highly recommended! All the best. Nasser Al Taher
We stayed at the villa from 3 through 10 May 2013 and we really enjoyed our stay. The villa is very nicely decorated, all new equipment, comfortable and enjoys a cool breeze through the many open entrances. We stayed at the villa with 3 children age 9/10 and they had such a great time in the pool and in the beautiful garden. The house, the garden, the swimming pool, this was all as advertised and the views over the cliff are absolutely stunning. Even though we were there early May we enjoyed great weather, with temperatures ranging from low to high twenties. Some days we stayed around the swimming pool and some days we toured around the island. We visited the swimming pools of Lago Martianez in Puerto de la Cruz, the beautiful Orca’s, Dolphins and birds at Loro Park, Siam Park, the waterpark in Coste Adeje, we wandered on the boulevards of Puerto and we visited the towns on the northern coast such as Garachico. Every day a new adventure, sometimes culture and sometimes plain fun. We also enjoyed the local restaurants using Tripadvisor as our guide. Amazing to find how many reviews there were for the restaurants in Santa Ursula. El Calderito de La Abuele was the no.1 review at the time, this was a really nice restaurant with great view. We also enjoyed the pizzeria El Molina more local and with very friendly staff. Finally the host Juan and the team from the agency were very nice and friendly, we felt really welcome at the villa. Whenever we had a question they responded really fast.
