The house was built in 1750 and originally served as a horse-changing station by stagecoaches operating between Strasbourg and Nancy. After that it was used as a lumberjack and farmhouse. Around 2000, the house was bought by us and rebuilt from scratch. Since then, use it as a family retreat. The house is located about 3 km outside the village 75 km west of Strasbourg.
The plot 2 hectares, is situated on a slope. The felling of the forest, surrounded by pine trees, birches, oaks, fruit trees and flower beds. Pralle nature in the rustic noble atmosphere Reiter. two solitude and Blackfire, Tennessee Western horses are at home here. A paradise for nature lovers and people who seek peace and seclusion. The large fireplace livens up the campfire at night or a barbecue on the pan grill. Saunagänger find greater pleasure. The 36 kw oven is heated with firewood.
For hiking the location is ideal, as you can start directly from the house. (Maps and attractions are in the house) In the immediate vicinity there are impressive sandstone cliffs, some with pitons.
We rent the entire house, the keys are delivered on time by appointment. The house is clean and ready for your visit. The beds are made to order, towels laid out.
The kitchen is fully equipped, all appliances in the kitchen can be shared, a first class of olive oil, vinegar and spices are also available. Those looking for activity and proximity to nature are right here. Requires familiarity with fire! And without fear of horses. Horses are permanently on the property and are provided daily by neighbors with food.
The House:
The ground floor is the large kitchen. We cook with gas. Oven, Kitchen Aid, coffee machine, dishwasher, etc. Entry with cabinets, countertop and storage. Large bathroom with sink, shower, exercise bike, towels, etc. On the top floor of the lounge with sofa, glass table and 2 chairs.
Next 3 separate bedrooms with double beds (140 x 200 cm) and in the attic is a beauty salon in the direction of open gallery with a double bed 200 x 200 cm, shelf, desk, TV area with sofa.
The house is heated exclusively with wood. The 12 kw Bullerjan the EC and a stove 7 kw upstairs enough for that. Firewood is available.
