Chalet Smart is a spacious and luxurious ski chalet with breathtaking views down the Chamonix valley and on to the summit of Mont Blanc. It has its own fenced-garden with a jacuzzi, and is minutes on foot from Chamonix’s walking paths and ski lifts.
This chalet is perfect for groups of up to 13 friends or one, two or even three families to share.
Furnished by one of London’s top interior designers, this chalet uses plenty of natural materials and beautiful furnishings to create a sumptuous property that carries all the charm of luxury living in the French Alps.
The large flat and fenced garden faces south-west with stunning views up on to the Mt Blanc massif and down the Chamonix valley and is a wonderful area for children to play in or adults to exercise, do yoga or simply relax. The eight-person jacuzzi is running Summer and Winter for guests to relax in and the decked area has a table, chairs and a BBQ for outdoor dining.
Undoubtedly one of the most striking features of this chalet is the vast Master Bedroom, which not only has two bathrooms, but a double bed built up close to the windows to allow guests to take advantage of the stunning views of Mont Blanc.
With four floors, five bedrooms, underground parking, a jacuzzi, a TV and games room this stunning alpine ski chalet is a fantastic place to stay for groups of up to 13 people.
Just 200m from the main Chamonix to Argentiere road, the chalet sits on the Petit Balcon Sud walking track, giving easy access to the network of paths that run around the valley, and is only 500m from the Grands Montets lift.
INSIDE CHALET SMARTChalet Smart is built over four floors and contains four en-suite bedrooms on the upper three floors and a fifth en-suite bedroom in the basement that can sleep four on single beds. (We keep this as the TV / Games room most of the time, unless group size requires it, although it makes a fantastic bedroom for children)
The property is entered through the large underground garage where there’s dedicated parking for up to three vehicles.
BASEMENT LEVELEntering the chalet, guests arrive in the Basement Level which contains:
Entrance room/cloakroom with ski boot dryer
Bedroom #1 - The lower bedroom contains three single beds and is mainly used as an overflow bedroom when the chalet hosts more than ten guests. This room is serviced by a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Utility room with washing and drying machine and extra fridge
GROUND FLOORThis floor contains the main living area and one bedroom and consists of:
Dining area with a table that seats ten people - additional seating and table space can be added if your group exceeds ten.
A comfortable lounge area with couches, chairs and a wood-burning stove. Wood is supplied.
A well-equipped kitchen for guests or one of our chefs to prepare meals.
British TV and iPod/iPhone docking station
Bedroom #2 is a double or twin with en-suite facilities, British TV and DVD player
Toilet for communal use
THE FIRST FLOORThis floor contains two bedrooms and consists of:
Bedroom #3 is undoubtedly one of the most attractive features of this chalet: an opulent, west-facing bedroom that spans the entire chalet and serviced by two separate bathrooms.The large double bed is specifically positioned to look down the Chamonix valley and take advantage of the breathtaking Mont Blanc views.
A balcony lies at the end of the bed for guests to step outside and watch the sun go down or the moon rise over the highest peaks in Europe.
This bedroom can be set up either as a double with ‘His’ and ‘Hers’ bathrooms or a twin bedroom with separate bathrooms.

THE TOP FLOORThe final floor of the chalet is an open plan space that consists of:
A large open-plan, bedroom in the eaves of the chalet that sleeps up to four people in either two doubles or four single beds with an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower
OUTSIDE AREAThe first-floor living area opens out on to the garden, where a jacuzzi awaits those who need to soak away the day’s adventures in the Chamonix mountains.
In summer the setting sun stays till late in the garden where guests can enjoy the BBQ and sun loungers as Mont Blanc turns first orange then pink.
The Grand Montets lift is only a 5 minute walk away and takes you to some of the finest skiing in France. Chamonix valley's FREE bus service stops just opposite the chalet giving you access to the rest of the valley’s villages and lift systems.
The centre of Argentière village is an easy 10-minute walk. Here you will find bars, restaurants and shops.
