The apartment is part of a small, private complex located on a hilltop overlooking the beach, about 7 km from the airport in Mahón. The apartment is situated on the second of two floors, with views of the yard and a large swimming pool with a separate shallow part for the youngest, and a playground.
You enter the apartment through the shutters on the terrace and arrive in to the living room and the small open kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a washing machine. The main bedroom is a double with a door on to the smaller rear balcony, which has morning sun, plus a double window and wardrobes.
The second bedroom has two single beds and a wardrobe and a door to the rear balcony. Both bedrooms are equipped with fans. There is air conditioning in the living room. Shutters help keep out the light and heat. The bathroom is small but functional with a bath tub. Two sunbeds are included at the terrace along with a large table, and if the afternoon sun gets too intense, there are awnings that cover the entire terrace.
Within 10-minute walking distance from the complex is the Cala'n Porter beach, which is a lovely sandy beach with shallow water and very safe for kids. There are stairs leading down to the beach, or of you prefer the road. There is also a small train down to the beach during the high season. Cala'n Porter is one of Menorca's oldest resorts and perfect for family holidays, with a variety of bars and restaurants offering evening entertainment for both adults and children, all within 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Other local facilities (bank, supermarket, pharmacy, etc.) are also within 5 minutes walk from the property. There is a local bus service from Cala'n Porter to and from the bus station in Mahón where buses are available for the rest of the island. Cova de Xoroi is a popular nightclub and restaurant about ten minutes walk from the apartment and it offers stunning views over the ocean.
