We stayed 2 weeks with our family and friends (4 adults & 3 kids) and loved the house and the surrounding area. Very close to the lovely and authentic village Collobrières. Valentijn and Barbara were very friendly and kind hosts and we can highly recomment to stay there. The kids (but not only them) loved the very big pool!
Lovely property in a beautiful location, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was great, it was well equipped with utensils and cookware. Large swimming pool with plenty of loungers and lots of outdoor space for relaxing away from the pool. The local village, Collobrières, was only a short walk away with more than enough shops and restaurants. We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Valentijn and Barbara were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and all your help leading up to and during our stay. Would highly recommend.
Nous étions un groupe à courir le trail des maures à Collobrieres. Cette maison a plu à chacun de nous. En effet, nous avions suffisamment d'espace, la maison était très propre et très bien décorée. Elle était aussi bien équipée pour cuisiner. La piscine a été un + pour se détendre. Valentin s'est montré disponible et nous le remercions.Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette location.
Property had everything you needed. We spent our time lazing around the pool and in the evening eating on the terrace. Our teenage son loved having his own space with the separate studio, Valentijn couldn’t do enough to help you, being on hand but unobtrusive. The village sounded lively with celebrations and music in the evening but we were just there to soak up the sun and rest. So you had the best of both worlds here.
A lovely base for exploring Var in Provence. Great cycling area. The Villa was very comfortable and well equiped for a family holiday. This charming home from home was loved by all generations of the family. Our 6 yr old grandaughter enjoyed the pool and learned to swim without floats. Thank you to Valentijn for his help and welcome. Thouroughly reccomended
We had a very nice stay. House is on a hill with view on the pittoresk town Collobrières. The house has all comfort clean rooms with airconditioning.the heated swimming pool is big and clean.

The stay went very well, we arrived in the evening and it was no problem for Valentijn, he was there for any questions, we had a very good time again thank you to him and his wife, the house was large enough to accommodate us very nice pool, very well maintained the house in very good condition. Very well maintained. I have nothing negative to say, the village of Collobrières, very friendly, exotic, shops offers everything we needed. There is a modern pharmacy in the village. There are often lively evenings when we were there and it was great, we were able to do a few hikes, the beaches are about a 30 minute drive away. Merci encore à vous et à votre femme. Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Je suis reconnaissant de votre hospitalité merci pour vos sourires. Je vous souhaite de belles années, et Le séjour s’est très bien passé, nous sommes arrivés en soirée et ça n’a posé aucun problème à Valentijn, il était présent pour la moindre question, nous avons passé un très bon moment encore merci à lui et à sa femme, la maison était assez grande pour nous accueillir très belle piscine, très bien entretenu la maison en très bon état. Très bien entretenu Je n’ai rien à dire de négatif, le village de Collobrières, très sympathique dépaysant les commerces propose tout ce que nous avons eu besoin il y a une pharmacie moderne au village. Il y a souvent des soirées animée quand nous y étions et c’était super, nous avons pu faire quelques randonnées, les plages sont à environ 30 minutes en voiture.
We had a wonderful relaxing stay in this gorgeous apartment, with our children revelling in the lovely big pool (with spectacular panoramic views) and the large play area under the trees. Everything in the house was immaculate, tasteful and well thought-out, with everything you could possibly need on hand. Our hosts were very incredibly thoughtful, kind and attentive, suggesting local places to visit and even arranging for food supplies for our first morning, organising an anniversary meal out for us and booking a taxi for my parents, who were with us. The short walk into the village made for a very pleasant way to get fresh bread each morning; although be aware it is a steep return - too steep for my parents (late 70s with arthritis). However, it was easy enough to drive down, where there is a large, free public carpark.
Détails : As soon as we entered the property we were immediately impressed. The house, the garden, the different areas to relax - very nicely designed. Nothing was missing on the inside either. The owners have furnished it with love and attention to detail. They were friendly, cordial, helpful and it was an enrichment to get to know these people.
