This charming three-bedroom, two-bathroom gîte is set over two floors and comfortably accommodates up to eight guests. Located within a beautifully renovated barn, it combines the character of a traditional Charentais country cottage with surprisingly generous living space. To the rear, you’ll enjoy a private garden and independent parking, making it ideal for families or groups.
Exposed beams in the main bedroom and some low ceiling heights—particularly in the family bathroom—add to the property’s authentic charm. Like a Tardis, it feels much larger inside than you might expect.
Ground Floor
The ground floor benefits from a full-height double-glazed door and window unit along the front wall, flooding the space with natural light and creating a bright, airy atmosphere.
The open-plan main living area (40m²) includes a fully fitted, well-equipped kitchen. The comfortable lounge offers sofas, armchairs and bean bags, making it a welcoming space for the whole family. When the weather is less favourable, gather in the dining area to enjoy relaxed meals together around the dining table.
Bedroom 3 (11m²) is located on the ground floor and features a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The window is fitted with an electric external roller shutter, providing effective blackout for a restful night’s sleep.
An open-tread, fully balustraded staircase leads from the living area to the first floor.
First Floor
